Her (I'm assuming) husband was looking at her but occasionally looking over his shoulder. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what they were doing. Then I noticed other people in the parking lot all looking to the sky, phones and cameras in hand.

Maybe its because I have a son now and I'm just chomping at the bit to start buying mass quantities of Duplo kits. Maybe its because I just enjoyed them as a kid and miss it.

At any rate, I ended up ordering the 8070 Supercar kit. Needless to say, LEGOs have evolved since I started with them. Its a 1281 piece kit with a motor, and three books of instructions. Yes, I said three booklets of instructions. And you need to use all three of them. Its not like they're for different variations. No, you can download the variations from the LEGO website.

I set about my task of assembling this beast last night and finished it in about 4-5 hours. And I only screwed up one minor assembly on one of the doors. Luckily I noticed the mistake fairly quickly and was able to fix it without a major headache.

This may have re-opened Pandora's box. I now have a craving to build more and want to order more involved kits.

As if I didn't already have enought time-sinks.

Once I take some pictures and video, I'll upload it all.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.officefoster.com/journal/2011/2/9/minecraft.html"><rss:title>Minecraft !</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.officefoster.com/journal/2011/2/9/minecraft.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>game gaming minecraft site</dc:subject>

I've gone ahead and started a gallery pictures relating to my latest addiction - Minecraft. Its got to be the best shave I think I've ever had. Your standard razors these days just can't come close and they cost too damn much.

So now I'm using a black Merkur safety razor, a badger hair brush, and Merkur double-edge blades (I would have supplied a link, but it appears the set is no longer available). The lather you can get with a brush definitely beats the gel I was using before (sorry honey). Even with the first pass with this new razor, its really easy to tell the difference. The hair just comes right off. There is no pulling or tugging. I could never use a mainstream multi-bladed razor without some tugging. The blades just aren't sharp enough. With the Merkur blades I'm starting with, there is a minimal amount of burn. For as good of a shave as I got, its an acceptable amount. The next step up will be using the feather-light blades I also bought. Those are supposed to be crazy sharp.

There is just no competition. I can only imagine what a straight razor would be like. Maybe that will be next. Once I'm comfortable, with this razor, I'll step up to a full-on straight razor. We'll see.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.officefoster.com/journal/2010/12/5/not-another-monday.html"><rss:title>Not another Monday</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.officefoster.com/journal/2010/12/5/not-another-monday.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>baby sleep tired</dc:subject>

Sigh... its almost 9pm on Sunday evening and I have to be up in 7 hours. Since I barely got any sleep last night, going to bed late tonight is not even a blip on the radar. Rhys won't go to sleep. Of course, when he's not sleeping, he's either eating or crying. At least... that's the way its been for the last couple of days. I hope to god this is just the three month growth spurt. My head is about to crack from all the crying and restlessness.

Definitely not ready for Monday yet.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.officefoster.com/journal/2010/11/16/re-arranging.html"><rss:title>Re-arranging</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.officefoster.com/journal/2010/11/16/re-arranging.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>site time web</dc:subject>

So I've transferred everything over to squarespace now.
